Unfortunately, way to many of us are heading the wrong way down a one-way street, not heeding God’s relentless question to our soul: Where are you? (Gen 3:8-9)
Whenever we go into hiding, we short-circuit our relationship to the God (1 Jn 4:16b).
Our only hope for restoration is honesty and confession (1 Jn 1:8-10; Psalm 32; Jam 5:13-16)
And in the end just as Jelly Roll says: “When it’s all said and done, I’m not ok but it’s all gonna be alright.”
