Palm Sunday was actually the site of two major parades in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago. One was led by Jesus, the other by Pilate, each coming into town on separate sides and with separate agendas (Jn 12:12-15).

Jesus Submission to the Father (John 8:16;Lk 22:42) vs Pilate’s Submission to Caesar
Conclusion: Two different kings…two different kingdoms… One built on money and materialism
while the other built on faith and the Spirit. Palm Sunday gives us hope for a better kingdom than the one we see in this world.
