WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF GOOD NEWS FROM JAMES? (KINDNESS)

Paul’s gospel has been summarized by some through what is called the Romans Road, verses from the book of Romans leading into a profession of faith as the hallmark of salvation (Rom 3:23, 6:23, 5:8; 10:9-13).
Meanwhile, James states that such a profession alone is inadequate if not accompanied by good works or acts of kindness (Jam 2:14-19)…which he underscores as the royal law (Jam 2:8-9a). This law planted in us deeply is the source of salvation (Jam 1:19-27).
One of our greatest acts of love is bringing sinners back from the brink (Jam 5:19- 20)…and we may be the first sinner we have to deal with.
