This morning we invite you to ring whatever bell you have been given…especially the nes that are cracked… for cracks let the light into our soul and let the light flow out of our souls to others (2 Cor 4:4-6). The truth of the matter is that our greatest treasure rests in our cracks (2 Cor 4:7-11).
The Bible declares that all of us have cracks and imperfections (Rom 3:23). This includes all of us…Saints and sinners…Deacons and Deadbeats. Of this group Paul considers himself to be the worst (1 Tim 1:15) at a loss for doing good even when trying the hardest (Rom 7:18-19).
But Paul learned what that ironically at his weakest, Christ in him became strongest (2 Cor 12:7b-10). God prefers our weakness to our strength (1 Cor 1:24-27). So be sure to show your cracks!
