It is my prayer that today we give and receive blessings to one another including not only our fathers, but the heavenly Father as well (Jam 3:8-10 NLT).
A good place to start is by receiving the message built into Numbers 6:22-27 as priests (each of us - 1 Peter 2:9) are challenged to disperse God’s blessings to his people.
The deepest parts of our soul cries out for blessings of this nature (Gen 27:30-38).
Jesus’s most memorable parable underscores that our God is a compassionate, blessing-oriented God, even when none are earned or deserved (Lk 15:1-24).
The blessings of God are available to all…and maybe especially to all of us wayward sons and daughters.
